1. Opera Mixer: An Evening of Opera Delights (Thursday and Friday 7th & 8th July)
Fellow Penn alums, I'd like to invite you to an event by Opera Viva (www.operaviva.com.sg), a non-profit on whose Board I sit, and for whom I'm producing a soirée on July 7th and 8th. Would love to see some fellow Red & Blues there!

Opera Viva presents Opera Mixer: An Evening of Opera Delights.Is it a concert? Is it a social event? Or is it both? Come find out at Opera Viva’s intimate music salon. Set in an intimate gallery space at the historical Old Parliament House, you will mix and mingle with some of Singapore’s up-and-coming artists over wine and light refreshments while they perform some of their favourite repertoire. We’ll hear stories about the delightful world of opera from the artists themselves. Whether you’re new to opera or an enthusiast, there’s something in it for you.

2. Dining Behind Bars event (Friday 5 Aug 2016 - 10 am to 2 pm)
The Yellow Ribbon Fund has invited the Penn / Wharton club to their quarterly Dining Behind Bars event. This event has been scheduled on Friday, 5 Aug 2016, between 10.00am to 2.00pm, at Cluster A/Changi Prison Complex.
The half-day event will include an educational tour of prison that allows guests to gain insights to the rehabilitative efforts by Singapore Prison Service and SCORE. During the luncheon, guests will also get to taste a 3-course western meal prepared by inmates from the SCORE Catering Kitchen.
